Hi, glad to have found this program. One issue I’m having:
The application keeps popping back to the front when I’m in another app. I assume it’s because the camera is still active (metering or something) while plugged in? I want to keep the camera connected and CameraRC open, but I need to be able to use other apps as normal. It should stay idle in the background. Very annoying. Maybe I’m missing something obvious. Thanks for any help!
OSX 10.8.3, Nikon D750 via USB. Trial CRCD v1.2
Yes, I’ve heard of this issue being a problem from at least one other person. The main form is being brought to the front because the camera is typically updating the controls (for example the shutter speed if you are aperture preferred). It is on our list of things to work on and get resolved – I agree it can be annoying :). I will see if we can get this resolved for the next release.
Ok great, thanks! So maybe for now just shooting in Manual mode will prevent this…
I think we have found what was causing the issue you are seeing. We have a change that is going into the next release that should prevent the Control Panel from constantly popping to the front on Mac. The new release is expected in a few days.
Ok, nice! Thank you!
